Julie Bryant, the founder and President of the Bryant Consulting Group has over 16 years of experience in the life sciences market place. In her previous position at OmniViz, a Battelle company, as VP of Sales and Marketing worldwide she was responsible for multi-million dollar revenues, building global sales, application scientists, and customer support.

Julie has also held positions at Genometrix and Accelrys developing new market opportunities for microarray services, archiving blood samples, medical records and scientific software sales into the biotech, pharmaceutical and materials market sectors.

Prior to joining Accelrys, Julie was the International Sales Manager for Nature, the weekly international scientific journal. Julie is also on the Board of Directors for FreedomVOICE Systems, a San Diego based Telecomm Software Services Company and GeneGo, a Systems Biology Company. Julie has also seeded several start-ups in the US and Europe through Bryant Ventures.

Laura Brovold joined the company in February of 2004. She received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, San Diego in December of 2003 where she studied under Dr. Kim Baldridge. Her research background is in computational chemistry and quantum mechanics. Her research projects included a study of natural products cancer drug candidates, and structure and reactivity investigations of the gasoline additives MTBE. She also helped in the development and implementation of COSab, the Continuum Solvation Methodology within the GAMESS quantum chemistry package. She has publications in Helvetica Chimica Acta and J. Phys. Chem.
